Application Process

Registration for the exam must be completed online. Every applicant will receive an acknowledgement and a reference number to be used in all communications regarding examination registration processes. Please note, applicants will only be allowed to register for ONE examination at a time.

Examination Fee

Online all inclusive (registration, processing and handling charges) fee is 1000 AED to be paid via credit card: MasterCard, VISA, visa electron, etc.

Eligibility

• The exam is open to all medical graduates and Final Year medical students, who satisfy the residency training application criteria of HAAD, DHA and MOH. UAE nationals and all other nationalities who meet the said criteria are eligible to register for the examination.
• All eligible candidates may take EMREE up to three times a year starting from the first attempt to obtain a pass score.
• NIHS classification and registration rules and regulations apply to candidates who fail the EMREE for two years after graduation date.
• After obtaining a pass score in the EMREE each candidate are not eligible for further attempts to improve their mark.
